Considered one of the best in the world, the prestigious Beijing Wushu Team just toured the San Francisco Bay Area this month presented by Pacific Wushu, the Stanford Martial Arts Program and the Tiger Claw Foundation.
The team’s history is legendary. It has consistently dominated national and world championship events for many years, also producing a number of famous action movie stars such as Jet Li, who trained on the team from an early age.
Watching their performances, as well as having the opportunity to practice with some of them, was a great way to kick off our ‘Year of the Dragon’ here at East Bay Wushu.
